Accessibility statement.
We build this website to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, the standard Pinquin tests for. This page says how we checked it, and how to tell us when something doesn’t work for you.
What this covers
This statement covers the website at pinquin.ai. It doesn’t cover the Pinquin product at app.pinquin.io.
How accessible it is
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA on every page, with no exceptions. We know of no barriers today. Automated testing can’t prove full conformance, so we don’t claim it; the list below says exactly what has been checked.
How we checked
Every page is tested automatically each time the website changes:
- Automated rules (axe) for WCAG 2.2 A and AA, in light and dark mode.
- Reflow at 320 pixels wide, with no sideways scrolling.
- Increased text spacing, with nothing cut off.
- Keyboard use: every control can be reached, focus is always visible, and the order follows the page.
- Reduced motion: animations stop, and anything that moves for longer than five seconds can be paused.
- The pages and the request form work without JavaScript.
- Errors in the request form are announced, explained, and linked to the answer they belong to.
Choices that help
- Text in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readability.
- Status is never shown by colour alone; every status has a word and a shape.
- Buttons, menu links and form controls are at least 44 pixels high.
- No cookies, pop-ups or puzzle CAPTCHAs.
